Reaching Goals | My fitness journey part 4

So I wanted to give a little update on how my fitness journey is going.

So in my last update I mentioned how I was tracking my calories and I’m still doing that. I’ve kind of made it more of a lifestyle now so I don’t need to track everything but I just have a rough idea. Whenever I feel like I’m slipping I’ll start to be a bit more meticulous.

I’ve decided to give up weighing myself because I still don’t seem to be losing any weight and it’s getting me sooo down. However when I look at pictures I can see that there has been a change in my body and my clothes fit better now. I can see more definition in my stomach too although there is a long way to go!

I have toyed with the idea of doing a “proper” diet but I just don’t think I can fit it in to my lifestyle at the moment and I don’t want to be on a diet for the rest of my life. I also don’t really want to spend money on it either so I think I’ll just continue as I am.

I’ve been doing really well with my running as well. When I first started I set myself a challenge of running to our local church without stopping. It’s only 1.1 miles but the hills are crazy so it wasn’t easy not to stop! I normally run about 2.5 miles 3 times a week but last week I managed to reach my goal of running to the church with no stops. I felt soo proud of myself.

I recently downloaded Bodyposi Panda’s book “Body Positive Power” and I’m excited to get through it. I’m really struggling with my self image at the moment but I’m so sick of feeling like this given that I am eating really well and exercising. I guess my body is just happy how it is.

Time for my mind to catch up!
